Who I am

I have been a writer for over 30 years, but only shared my words with friends and family. Only recently have I been brave enough to ask others what they thought and turns out that they liked what they read. I kind of like it too.

I have a degree in photojournalism from the University of Idaho. I worked in the industry for a few years until the travel and inconsistent pay took a toll on my family. I have taken close to half a million photos in the past 35 years and some of them are even pretty good. They figure prominently in all my stories.

I am a husband, father, grandfather, writer, photographer, fly fisherman and fly tier… in that order.
